Robert De Niro just disgraced himself in front of a national TV audience by attacking President Trump’s kids.
He agreed with Joy Behar that Trump was a nasty man and that his family is a bunch of gangsters and went on to say that he would disown his kids if they acted like President Trump’s children.
“I don’t want my kids to take this the wrong way, but if my kids did what these kids did, I wouldn’t want to be related to them,” De Niro star said today on “The View.”

“I would disown them,” the father of six added. “I’d have a serious talk with them. First of all, it’s an impossibility, my kids are not like that, of course.”
Weird for Robert to attack Trump’s kids for doing what exactly? Ivanka just pushed through paid family leave which has long been a Dem dream.
Don Trump Jr and Eric have continued to run the Trump family business while helping campaign for their father all the while avoiding any whiff of scandal.
In fact, the liberal media used to gush over Trump’s kids because they all avoided the trap of coming from a rich and famous family – drug addiction caused by too much money and too much time on the hands.
Trump put his kids to work at an early age and it shows.
From The Hill:
De Niro, asked by “View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg if he had been watching the impeachment proceedings against Trump in the House, replied, “I think no matter what happens — which we know probably in the Senate he won’t get convicted or whatever — but we have to do this.”
The 76-year-old actor, one of the Trump’s most vocal Hollywood critics, continued, “We have to go through the motions. Symbolically, it means something. It’s a taint on his presidency. More than a taint, it’s a stain — one that he deeply deserves.”
“He has to take the punishment. He has to pay the consequences,” De Niro said of Trump…
… Asked by co-host Abby Huntsman Monday if Democrats should forge ahead with impeachment “even if that means it could risk Republicans winning in the election” next year, De Niro said the proceedings should continue despite any political consequences.
“We don’t have time for that. He did something wrong,” De Niro said. “He has to pay for it. Period.”
